Meet The Sisters
No matter where you live—from the heart of suburbia to a quiet stretch of countryside—you can build a life that feels more connected, self-sufficient, and intentional. Homesteading isn’t defined by the size of your land or the number of animals you own; it’s about learning new skills, making the most of what you have, and taking small steps toward the life you envision. With dedication, creativity, and a willingness to adapt, your homesteading dreams can become a reality. Every journey looks a little different, and that’s part of the beauty of it. Whether you’re growing herbs on a balcony or tending a large garden, there’s no single “right” way to homestead—only the way that works best for you and your family.
I have spent much of my life exploring different corners of the United States, calling places like Minnesota, Hawaii, Washington, Virginia, and now Florida home. Along the way, I have developed a deep appreciation for the unique ways people grow, cook, and preserve food. Each place has taught me something new, from gardening in different climates to discovering regional recipes and traditions that bring families together around the table.
Today, I am a wife, mother, gardener, writer, and aspiring homesteader who believes there is beauty in slowing down and creating a home rooted in intention. Whether I am tending a garden, trying a new recipe, processing food, or spending time outdoors with my family, I am passionate about sharing the lessons, successes, and occasional mishaps that come with pursuing a more simple and connected way of life.

I live on a peaceful patch of Minnesota countryside, where I enjoy a hands-on lifestyle centered around family, animals, and homesteading. As the owner of a boarding and grooming business, I spend my days caring for animals while also tending my garden, raising laying hens, breeding geckos, and preserving the food we grow each season.
I love learning new skills and finding creative ways to make the most of what we produce at home. I am a wife and mother who finds joy in the quiet rhythms of country life. Whether I’m trying a new recipe, processing homegrown food, spending time outdoors, or simply enjoying the peace and beauty of our property, I am passionate about living intentionally and embracing the adventures that come with creating a more self-sufficient life.
